Greenpath Ventures

Bushcraft and outdoor activities for disadvantaged adults

greenpath ventures' John in a hammock

Greenpath Ventures is an innovative community project that offers bushcraft and related activities to disadvantaged adults, especially those with mental health issues. A major aim of the Group is to help improve the self-esteem and confidence of disadvantaged adults, especially those with mental health issues. They received an Opportunties for Volunteering grant from Attend to help them recruit volunteers from disadvantaged backgrounds to offer bushcraft and related activities.
These positive role models promote healthy living and encourage confidence and self esteem in disadvantaged adults, especically those with mental health issues.
Greenpath Ventures offers the unique opportunity to gain qualifications and get back to nature to in a safe, secure and encouraging environment for both volunteers and clients.

Quote

"Members of the organisation often have backgrounds and qualifications in mental health or bushcraft and personal experience of living with disadvantage.
The latest evidence shows that being active outdoors is beneficial to mental health. It improves people's physical strength, their confidence and self-esteem."

Attend golf day

After the success of last years inaugural charity golf day for Attend, we are offering another great opportunity to play golf at a beautiful centrally located course, nestled between picturesque locks, with panoramic views of the rolling countryside towards the River Trent.
The day provides an enjoyable occasion for networking, corporate entertaining, team building or simply a time to catch up with friends. Prompt bookings and pledges of support would be greatly appreciated.
