Friends of University Hospital Lewisham
Supporting the hospital's staff, patients and visitors
The Friends were awarded an Opportunities for Volunteering grant to help with the setting up of a new hospital shop to raise funds for the hospital.
Funds are used to provide equipment, furniture, furnishings and toiletries for the hospital. The shop is in the prime location of the hospitals main entrance on Lewisham High Street which attracts customers from the local community.
The new shop has recruited volunteers to work in the shop and been able to provide them with training and support withthe help of the grant from Attend.
