Ostomy Lifestyle
Support and advice for those affected by stoma surgery
Ostomy Lifestyle offers information, advice and support to anyone affected by bowel or bladder surgery; patients, their families and carers.
The Careline is staffed by volunteers who have all had stoma surgery.
They undergo extensive training in stoma lifestyle issues and gain nationally recognised qualifications in telephone helpline skills.
These skills help many volunteers return to paid employment following their recovery from surgery.
By providing a centralised resource for advice, information and emotional support we can be sure that everyone has the appropriate support right from the start.
