Vernova Healthcare
Community Interest Company

Community Health Services

Vernova Healthcare CIC's aim is to benefit the community by:

  • Providing an enhanced range of health services to the patients registered with the six Macclesfield GP practises through a partnership format (super surgery)
  • Managing the facilities at Waters Green Medical Center in order to ensure that the community can recieve care within a high quality environment.

Vernova Healthcare has been involved in delivering a unique volunteering programme at Water Green Medical Centre since April 2008. The programme was initially funded by Awards For All, which provided some specialist advice and training for the volunteer-led Management Committee to develop their original ideas for a range of added support for patients at the super surgery to enhance their experience of local health and social care.
