Inclusive Volunteering
They will be looking to engage their community more fully in their activities, with a particular focus on 'hard-to-reach groups.
The programme aims to develop the ability and confidence of participants to engage with hard-to-reach volunteers, and to develop participant's knowledge of the specific needs of the various groups
The programme has been awarded 'Development Programme' status by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and candidates who complete are awarded a certificate plus one year's membership from the ILM. Inclusive Volunteering consists of a series of workshops that allow candidates to consider a range of key issues related to engaging with 'hard-to-reach' groups.
What people have said about this programme
I found both courses I attended very inspiring and would love to attend more.
Really enjoyed the day and the opportunity to discuss issues
Very good presenters, paces and relevance to range of audience needs
Very good workshop, lots of ideas to take away and to work on
One of the best workshops I have been to in a while. Excellently delivered, paced, structured and had a nice combination of interaction
Another great workshop. Again, I have come away with ideas of how to improve our volunteering opportunities and make them better for people with mental health needs

All those looking to engage hard-to-reach groups within their community more fully in their activities, and who wish to develop good practice, that is quality assured and recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management.
