Enfield Stroke Pathway
Based in the London borough of Enfield, this project is helping people who have had a stroke by finding them volunteering placements.
Attend is part of the new innovative Stroke Pathway being lead by Enfield NHS and Local council. This allows a client to be tracked, supported and engaged by the appropriate services throughout the journey to recovery. Attend sits at the far end of the provision ensuring clients are smoothly transferred from the medical world back into the community through volunteering and or job placements. Attend is part of a Third Sector consortium and is looking to expand this programme to other boroughs and other areas of the country.
