David Wood has been admitted to Freedom of City of London by redemption in his role as Attend CEO.
Freedom is a very ancient tradition that brings with it a number of rights:
- A freedom from bridge tolls when bringing animals in to the city for sale
- The right to carry a naked sword in public
- The right to a silken rope, if hanged (although hopefully we wont get to that)
David Wood OBE (Pictured above with the Clerk to the Chamberlains Court and the Beedle) commented:
"It is lovely to see and understand more about how the City of London works, and i would hope to join a livery company in the near future. This can only benefit our member groups"
David Wood was nominated by Mrs Mervyn Redding (Both pictured below)
