Dementia Adventure to climb Ben Nevis

Please support Neil Mapes and the team walking up Ben Nevis to raise funds for more Dementia Adventures

Neil:

"I am part of a team of 10 people who are off to Scotland next week to scale the heights of Ben Nevis.  We are walking to raise funds to enable Dementia Adventure to provide more adventures for people living with Dementia.  We are aiming to raise £5000 as a group.  Please consider supporting me in my efforts by donating to Dementia Adventure using the PayPal link on our webpage via the following link:http://www.dementiaadventure.co.uk/donate.  If you prefer you can send a cheque - all the details you should need are available via the donate page link above.

All of the funds we raise will go directly into our bursary pot to be spent on directly providing adventure experiences with people living with dementia.  Please visit our You Tube channel to watch our brand new "Introduction to Dementia Adventure" film as well as recent Dementia Adventures in the Isle of Man and sailing in Cornwall.  Further films will be released soon of our recent adventure holidays sailing in Cornwall and in Essex as well as our park walk adventure held yesterday  to mark Dementia Awareness week which was attended by 89 people living with dementia and their carers!

My personal target for fund raising is £500, here a few examples of what we can do with your money whether you are able to donate a little or a lot.  Thank you so much for your support in whatever form it takes.  Please note that we do not currently have charitable status, we are a registered community interest company.  We will only use donations to support our adventure provision.

£10 enables us to provide a supported park walk for a person living with dementia

£25 enables us to support the travel costs of people living with dementia joining our adventures
