The League of Mercy's Order of Mercy Awards

Does your organisation make good use of volunteers? Have you considered putting forward someone who deserves recognition?

The 2016 awards ceremony took place in the wonderful surroundings of the Mansion House in the City of London, in the presence of The Sheriff of the City of London and tea with Lord Lingfield and the Trustees followed.

The names of the 2016 recipients, were, as usual, published in the London Gazette. Additionally details were sent by the League to recipients' local newspaper and much valuable publicity was achieved for their charities.

Please note that the closing date for receipt of nominations for the 2017 ceremony is end Feb 2017; although you will help the Trustees if you can return forms earlier. Nomination forms can be downloaded from their website: http://www.leagueofmercy.co.uk/index.htm

We hope very much that you may be able to identify a distinguished volunteer who has been of the greatest service to your charity and who deserves consideration for recognition by the League of Mercy.
